Jovid Schuette, LPC

I see clients who are looking for help healing from trauma (I use EMDR). I enjoy supporting older teens in “finding their way.” I am skilled in managing grief. I help clients live more fulfilling lives. If you are looking for someone to truly listen, hear, and understand you, I hope you give me a call. I help with all aspects of life, including physical, emotional, and spiritual health. I am open to seeing new clients now.

I specialize in using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help reduce trauma reactions and anxiety triggers. I enjoy helping people navigate life and cope with loss. I can help you reach your potential by gaining insight into your struggle, overcoming your obstacles, and guiding you to live more authentically.

I look forward to meeting you. I believe in your courage to move forward. It pains me to hear accounts from clients who explain how their previous therapist failed them. If you can relate to this, I especially invite you to reach out to me to give counseling one more shot. I’ve been doing this for over 25 years.

I see clients in person or via telehealth. I’m available on weekdays into the evening. I look forward to meeting those 12 years old and older.

I will support you in moving forward with your trauma recovery, navigating life, and relationship development. Together, we will create an objective treatment plan addressing your goals. Clients feel empowered to move forward right away.

My genuineness, sense of humor, faith, and never-ending optimism are important foundations for me. When I am not helping people professionally, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our two adult sons (when they are around), and our two cats (one of which is very spoiled). I enjoy the outdoors, starting and hopefully finishing home improvement projects, watching football, and listening to all kinds of music.

I’m glad you’re ready to begin. There is no time like the present. I look forward to talking with you about where you want to be. I believe in your courage to move forward.
