New Insights Counseling is looking to expand our team!  We aim to reach even more individuals and families in the greater Wausau area and beyond. We are currently accepting applications for full-time therapists who are as driven as we are in creating strong, healthy communities.

Education and Qualifications:

• LPC/LCSW/LMFT/SAC preferred, will consider those with an “in-Training” license (LPC-IT, APSW, etc.)
• Additional training and/or certification in areas of specialization (EMDR, IFS, DBT, Couples Therapy, etc.) is a plus
• A non-judgmental approach and belief in a client’s ability to change, grow, succeed
• Knowledge of ongoing advancements in the field of therapy (e.g., trauma-informed, evidence-based)
• Flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with clients, coworkers and collaborating agencies
• Strong boundaries to maintain confidentiality/ethical standards and conduct self in a professional manner
• Ability to function independently and follow through on tasks in a timely manner
• Must have own computer to complete documentation and telehealth visits
• A stable internet connection and suitable home office environment to protect patient confidentiality (if conducting telehealth sessions from home)
• Current, unencumbered, active state licensure to practice in Wisconsin, at hire and for the entire duration of employment

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans alongside clients
• Conduct individual, family, and/or couples counseling sessions on a consistent basis (in alignment with therapist’s strengths and clients’ needs)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with clinic policies
• Option to lead/co-lead psychotherapy or skills groups if therapist wants to develop this as one of their passions
• Participate in weekly in-office clinical supervision sessions
