Katie Sabel

Katie, APSW

Katie has been working in mental health for the duration of her career, which includes several

years in school, residential, and outpatient behavioral health settings. She primarily serves the

youth and young adult population, though works with clients of all ages. No matter the person,

Katie values a holistic, strengths-based approach that supports them across the many areas of

their life. She incorporates components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical

Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to best serve clients in

their goals for treatment. She feels it is an honor to walk with people on their healing journey

and loves to help equip them with the tools they need to live their life worth living.

Katie can serve a wide variety of therapeutic topics, however, her main focus areas include:

  • anxiety
  • stress management
  • depression
  • attachment difficulties
  • trauma
  • suicidality
  • At-risk youth
  • Christian faith incorporation (if desired)

In her free time, Katie loves being outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, playing

all kinds of games, and painting. Fun fact: at one time Katie was certified to run a high ropes

course and zipline!
